Stuck in downtown Mission? We're the closest tow truck you'll find. Our shop is right here in town, so when you call from the 1st Avenue core we're usually on scene within minutes, not the half hour you'd wait for a truck coming in from out of town.
Downtown Mission is the strip along 1st Avenue and Welton Street up on the bench, dropping down to Railway Avenue and the Lougheed Highway where the tracks run. It's the busiest part of town: angle parking on the avenue, the shops and restaurants, the Mission City station with its commuter lot, and the Saturday farmers market in summer. Tight parking and a steady flow of traffic mean we get a lot of downtown calls.
Lockouts, Boosts, and Quick In-Town Tows
The most common downtown calls are the simple ones: keys locked in the car outside a shop on 1st Avenue, a battery that won't turn over in a parking lot off Welton, or a commuter coming back to a dead car at the station after a day in the city. We handle lockouts and battery boosts on the spot, and a standard in-town tow under 5 km is a flat $147 including tax for ordinary cars, trucks, and SUVs — bigger or complicated jobs we'll quote on the phone first.
The Railway Avenue and Lougheed Corridor
Below the downtown core, Railway Avenue and the Lougheed Highway carry most of the through traffic, and that's where breakdowns and fender-benders tend to happen, especially around the rail crossings and the bridge approach. We respond to that corridor day and night, and we bill ICBC directly if it's a collision tow.
