Need a tow truck in Stave Falls? We're the closest one. Our shop is in Mission, a straight run up Dewdney Trunk Road, so when you call from Stave Falls or Steelhead we're usually there well before anyone coming out from Maple Ridge or the south side.
Stave Falls sits up the hill northwest of town, between Hayward Lake and the Stave River, where the houses thin out into acreages and the BC Hydro powerhouse marks the end of the developed road. It's a quiet area, but Dewdney Trunk Road is the only real way in and out, and it gets a fair share of breakdowns, dead batteries on cold mornings, and slide-offs when the road ices up in winter.
Hayward Lake, Steelhead, and the Powerhouse
We cover the whole Stave Falls area, from the Hayward Lake Reservoir and its trail parking down through Steelhead. If you've got a flat at the Hayward Lake day-use lot, a no-start in a driveway off Sylvester Road, or a breakdown on Dewdney Trunk heading up to the dam, we'll get a truck to you. Battery boosts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel delivery are all part of what we bring out here.
Off-Road and Backcountry Recovery
Stave Falls is the doorstep to the Forest Service Roads and trails around Stave Lake, and that's where some of our toughest calls come from. We carry winches and proper recovery gear for vehicles that are stuck, bogged, or slid off a gravel road, and we pull out ATVs and quads as well as trucks and SUVs. If you're past where the pavement ends, we can still come get you.
